The eight treatment pages.

Most of the week here is ordinary dentistry: check-ups, cleaning, fillings and dentures, alongside the specialist work the practice is better known for. Each page explains what the treatment involves, who it suits, how many appointments it takes and what decides the cost.

How treatment works here

The same four steps, whichever treatment you need

Nothing starts before you know what it involves and what it costs. This is the sequence for every patient, whether it is one filling or a full-arch reconstruction.

  1. 01

    Free consultation

We examine the problem, review the imaging your case needs and explain the options. Nothing is booked on the day unless you want it to be.

  2. 02

    A plan and an estimate

You are told what needs doing, in what order, over how many appointments and at what cost, before anything is scheduled. A published price list would be a guess about your mouth, so the figure comes after someone has looked in it, and it is yours to take away and compare.

  3. 03

    Treatment

Carried out to the plan you agreed, under local anaesthetic where the work needs it. If anything about the plan changes once we are into the tooth, you are told before it is done rather than after.

  4. 04

    Aftercare

Reviews and professional hygiene at the interval your case needs. Implants and crown margins in particular are kept long term by what happens after the treatment.

The common thread

Magnification is the standard here.

Root canals and larger rebuilds of a damaged tooth are treated at twenty-five times magnification, and impressions are taken with a small scanner rather than a tray of putty. Patients travel for that combination because it lowers the chance of the work needing doing twice.
