What this page covers
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some websites also store information in the browser without using a cookie, for example in local storage. This page lists both, because the rules that matter to you are the same either way.
The controller responsible for the choices described here is VAN-DON-DENT Kft., trading as Harajda Dent, Várkerület 47., 9400 Sopron, Hungary. The privacy policy explains what is done with the data behind them.
Your choice, and how to change it
On your first visit, a consent window asks whether you accept statistics and marketing cookies. Nothing in those two categories is set until you accept. Accepting and declining are the same size, in the same place, and take one click each.
Your choice is stored for 12 months so that you are not asked again on every page. To change it, use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. That reopens the consent window, and the new choice replaces the old one immediately.
Declining keeps the site completely usable. Every page, the appointment request form, the telephone and email links and the map button work exactly the same way. Nothing is withheld, slowed down or hidden behind consent.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block storage entirely, the site still works, but your choice cannot be remembered and the consent window will appear on each visit.

Set by Google Ads conversion measurement, and only after you accept marketing cookies. They exist to tell us whether an appointment request followed one of our advertisements, and they are set only while the practice is running advertising campaigns.

Two things measured on this site are listed here for completeness, because they run without consent and it should be clear why: they store nothing in your browser at all.

Content you choose to load
The map on the contact page is not loaded until you press the button that loads it. Until then the page contains no Google content and contacts no Google server. Once you press it, Google delivers the map, receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, which are controlled by Google rather than by us. That is a separate choice from the consent window, and the practice address is fully readable without making it.
Where the WhatsApp button is shown, it is an ordinary link. It sets no cookie, and nothing is sent to Meta unless you tap it and start a chat.
Changes to this policy
This list is checked whenever a measurement or advertising tool is added to or removed from the site, and at least once a year. The effective date and the date of the last review are shown at the top of this page.
